June 2017, we produced aluminum castings for bearings and rubber sets.
1.The size of bearing Al castings:OD220 x ID120 x 78mm,
The size of rubber set Al castings:OD220 x ID53 x 70mm.
2.We adopted sand process to make the castings.The material of the aluminum castings is 6061-T6.Chemical composition is shown as below:
3.During inspection process,we found the following questions:
3.1There is slight surface oxidation: four pieces.
3.2There are slight scratches on the flange surface:three pieces.
We reworked the surface of the 7 pcs aluminum castings, to enhance the surface finish.
