December 2016, ASTM A494 CZ100 nickel-based alloy valve ring, totally 92 sets,were delivered to Australia by plane.
1.We adopted centrifugal casting process to make the rings. The parts need full machining:the surface finish is Ra3.2,total run-out is 0.10.
2.The valve rings require surface anti-corrosion treatment, 100% penetration testing,X-ray detection on the first ring to ensure no pores and cracks.
3.The castings also need to meet the following conditions:
3.1 Rated pressure not exceeding 2100KPa;
3.2 During the service period, the casting can withstand static load conditions.
4.As the nickel alloy material is very special, in the southern region using induction furnace smelting is very difficult. After several trials,finally we adopt vacuum smelting + intermediate frequency induction smelting,to get a good centrifugal cast tube. Due to the high thermal sensitivity of the material, the deformation is very big during machining process , we studied a variety of machining solutions to ensure the high-precision requirements, thus exceeding the customer's expectations .Finally we completed the orders successfully.
5.The size of the rings: Wear Ring: OD399xID362x44, Seat Ring: OD412xID359x51, OD348xID327x40. The rings have passed X-ray inspection;Chemical composition and mechanical properties have passed NATA laboratory examination.
