Customized 11CrMo910 Y Type Forgings Parts Forging Process and Machining
Introduction:
Our production process is: forging the Y-shaped part blank, and then we do machining the internal holes
(φ19.4mm & φ25.4mm) of the Y-shaped forging and the dimensions of the outer assembly position.
Working parameters:
Temperature of gases (outside): 850 °C
Temperature of medium (steam) inside of „Y" forging: 540 °C
Pressure of medium (steam): 139 bar
Hot forging is also called hot die forging. The deformed metal flows violently during forging, and the
contact time between the forging and the mold is long. Therefore, mold materials are required to have
high thermal stability, high temperature strength and hardness, impact toughness, thermal fatigue
resistance and wear resistance, and easy processing. Hot forging dies with lighter working load can
be made of low alloy steel.
