In August 2016, we produced 50-ton melting kettle castings for Malaysian customer for the third time.
1.The size of the melting kettle casting:φ3632 xφ3224 x 1562mm.The material is ZG230-450( BS3100 A4).Chemical composition is shown as below:
Mechanical properties are shown as below:
Tensile strength:511 MPa
Yield strength:271 MPa
Elongation:31.5%
Reduction Area :56%
Impact Value:90J、75J、80J。
2.The weight of the melting kettle castings is 10tons. We made solid wood patterns. We machined the flange face flat and drilled 3 M24 holes directly.
3.Due to the over-length of 2pcs melting kettles,one 20’FR container can not be enough to load the 2pcs. So we have to consider one 40’FR container.
4.The melting kettle castings have passed MT inspection and UT inspection.
